MIDROC Ethiopia, Office of the Chief Executive
Officer, was established on 26th June 2000 to
provide standardized, effective, efficient and
modern management services for the multi-sectoral
companies under the leadership of the CEO.
The well-known business tycoon, H.E. Sheik Mohammed
Hussein Ali AL-Amoudi and his family have established
the MIDROC Investment Group in Ethiopia, consisting
of over 30 companies.
Starting year 2000, five of the companies were
placed under the leadership of the CEO. The number
has since increased to eleven. These companies
are being identified with the name "The MIDROC
Ethiopia Technology Group". The Group includes:

H.E. Sheik Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi
is the Chairman and Owner of the companies.
He is supported by H.E. Sheik Hassen Hussein
Ali Al-Amoudi, who is the Deputy Chairman
as well as the Chairman to some of the companies.
Dr. Arega Yirdaw, CEO, provides the Executive
Leadership to the CEO Corporate Office Leadership
Service Group as well as the companies under
the CEO. The CEO's Office Leadership consists
of the Assistant CEO, Corporate Leaders,
Managers and their fellow employees. Each
autonomous company is lead by the CEO and
the respective General Manager appointed
by the CEO. Each company's daily operation
is managed by the respective General Managers,
reporting to the CEO. |
