"addis HOME DEPOT" was legally established as a company in 2003 under the leadership of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, MIDROC Ethiopia. The Company is officially inaugurated by Sheik Seid Hussein and Dr. Arega Yirdaw, Chief Executive Officer, MIDROC Ethiopia

Wanza Furnishing Industry (WANZA), a member of the MIDROC Ethiopia Technology Group has won two bids for the impregnation and supply of wooden poles worth 55 million Birr. Two agreements have been signed between WANZA and the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO) on December 6, 2005 and January 3, 2006.

addis Gas & Plastics Factory, a member of the MIDROC Ethiopia Technology group, is registering a steady progress towards the satisfaction of its growing customers. The private limited company was established in July 2003, and has been restructured by upgrading its operational capacity to fully engage in producing gaseous and plastic products, as well as providing high pressure cylinder bottle testing and high pressure valve repairing services.

The encouragement and benevolence of our beloved Chairman, Sheik Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Almoudi continued to serve as a source of strength to our National Football Team. As the result of this, the Ethiopian National Football team registered a remarkable victory at the 29th Eastern and Central African Football Association (CECAFA) Al-Amoudi Senior Challenge Cup. Sheik Mohammed has awarded money to each member of the winning National football team.

Our beloved Chairman Sheik Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amudi visited MIDROC Ethiopia Technology Group Corporate Center at Mechare Meda Compound. He called for a concerted effort of employees in the development of Ethiopia. The Chairman, in his brief statement urged the employees to exert more efforts in the future to register better results for the development of our country.

The 11th Aviation and Allied Business Conference was held from September 05-07, 2005 at the Sheraton Addis. The theme of the conference was "Air Transport in Africa: Translating vision into action" thereby delivering the benefits of air transportation to Africa and its people. Dr. Arega Yirdaw, CEO of MIDROC Ethiopia and TNA, presented a paper at the conference. TNA was one of the sponsors of the Conference.
