The main objective of KOSPI is to manufacture and sell different types of Metal and Engineering products that are mainly applicable for construction. These include:

• Manufacturing of corrugated and ribbed sheets in different sizes and thicknesses, together with accessories,

• Manufacturing of wire products including Nails, J-bolts and Binding Wires,

• Manufacturing of steel structures, pre-engineered steel buildings, van cargo bodies,

• Wire galvanizing, stractural HOT-DIP galvanization

KOSPI built its first factory in South Wollo, Kombolcha Town (380 km away from Addis Ababa) with a total land holding area of 60 thousand sq. meters. KOSPI's second factory was built at Akaki area, 30 km far from Addis Ababa with a total land holding area of 25 thousand sq. meters.

Currently, both of the factories are operational. KOSPI-Kombolcha Factory produces galvanized corrugated sheets, ribbed steel sheets, wire nails, J-bolts, binding wires, rectangular chain link, hexagonal wire netting, barbed wire, wood screw, U-nails & shoe tack products, whereas KOSPI-Akaki Factory produces steel poles, steel structures (towers, warehouses, factories, etc.), fuel and water tankers, canopies and other custom based engineering products.

KOSPI-Akaki Factory provides structural HOT-DIP galvanization service to customers.

KOSPI will proceed in developing and providing additional engineered products to the market, which will make the company a leader in Ethiopia. Agricultural machinery, prefabricated structures, construction equipment, industrial machinery, Electric power, microwave & mobile network transmission towers are areas to concentrate upon for development.

KOSPI will strengthen its marketing activity, in order to increase its market share in the country. The company has put a roadmap to excel the competition through better product quality and through diversification in the steel sector.

Presently, KOSPI employs a total number of 233 employees, of whom 200 are permanent and 46 are on contract basis. The remaining 33 are secondment employees from TRUST Protection & Personnel Services PLC.

• B.Sc./BA holders: 20 employees
• College Diploma holders: 29 employees
• Technical School Graduates: 34 employees
• 12th grade complete and below: 117 employees

• Quality Test Certificate; from Quality and Standards Authority of Ethiopia.

• Certificate of Appreciation from Zewditu Memorial Hospital, for KOSPI's contribution in the construction of out-patients waiting room.

• Other certificates from participation in different International and Local trade fairs and special events.
