Summit Engineered Plastics PLC (SEPCo) is organized under the Office of the Chief Executive Officer of MIDROC Ethiopia, and is lead by a General Manager, directly reporting to the CEO. The company has five major Service Units: Human Resources Services, Finance Services, Materials & Store Management Services, Marketing & Sales Services, Engineering & Technical Services; and one Operation Unit: Manufacturing Operation, all of which managed by qualified managers endowed with rich experience, and geared up for company future growth.

In order to facilitate an effective management of the company, the Management has placed different Policies and Procedures into practice. Among these are:

  • Human Resources Services Policy and Procedure Manual (HRSPM)
  • Financial Services Policy and Procedure Manual (FSPM)
  • Attest Plan
  • Materials Management Services Policy and Procedure manual (MMSPM)
  • Organizational Structure Manual (OSM)
  • Collective Agreement
  • Protection Services Policy and Procedure Manual (PSPM)
  • Educational Policy
  • HIV/AIDS Policy Manual

All Policy and Procedure Manuals are subject to change and hence nearly 80 directives have been released to improve the policies.
 
 
BUSINESS PURPOSES  
 
 

The company is established to accomplish the following business purposes:

  • Manufacturing and Selling of plastic products;

  • Manufacturing of P.P Bags of different size, color, and weight;

  • Manufacturing of polypropylene, woven Hessian cloth of different color and width;

  • Manufacturing of Poly Bags and Poly sheet of different size, color and thickness;

  • Manufacturing of Plastic crates.
