TRUST Protection Services provides Protection Officers to interested organizations on contract basis.

It also provides consultancy services; executive protection services; installation protection services; manned guarding services; escorting services; training services; and importing, maintaining & installing security equipment such as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Information Processing (IP) Surveillance, Access Controls, Metal Detectors, Razor Wires and the like.

TRUST Personnel Services provides skilled and semi-skilled personnel to companies and individuals. It also provides manpower related services such as training and deploying of semi-skilled personnel.

It also provides consultancy services, executive protection services, installation protection services, manned guarding services, escorting services, training services and importing, maintaining and installing security equipment such as CCTV, IP Surveillance, Access Controls, Metal Detectors, Razor Wires and the like.

TRUST Protection & Personnel Services PLC relieves customers from administrative burdens by outsourcing non-core activities of their organizations. For comprehensive Protection and Personnel Services, the following aspects are important:

  1. SELECTION
  • Protection Personnel

    • TRUST maintains close contact with the (concerned) relevant Government Authorities regarding the screening and selection of potential candidates to be trained as Protection Officers. Our selection criteria includes:

    • a minimum qualification of 10th grade, ability to read, write & speak local language and English,

    • a proven employment record in the field, medical fitness, professionalism, etc.

    • All candidates are screened for criminal records. TRUST hires employees on contract basis to render services for local customers.

  • Other Personnel Services

    TRUST maintains record of skilled & semi-skilled personnel in its human resources data bank and avails from same to MIDROC Ethiopia-Technology Group Companies as well as other interested organizations. To the extent possible, TRUST selects and assigns those personnel with good scholastic standing and exemplary work record.

  1. TRAINING
  • Protection Personnel

    All selected candidates are made to undergo a rigorous course in Basic Protection Duties and Procedures, refresher programs and tests prior to deployment to any client site. Fire fighting, First Aid, Threat Handling, Personal Hygiene and Discipline are some of the topics included in the training.

  • Other Personnel Services

    In addition to the basic education and experience that the contract employee possesses, TRUST will provide him/her with relevant skill upgrading training and general orientation on the duties and responsibilities of the job to which he/she will be assigned.

  1. OTHER ASPECTS THAT MAKE TRUST DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS:
  • Supervision After Services

    The Company is contractually bound to adhere to a specific Supervision. Through this it maintains specific standards and quality of service levels for the duration of the contract period.

  • Risk & Protection Surveys

    The services will be based on a comprehensive Risk Management, Loss control and Protection Survey that will be conducted at every post/point where the customer requires a service to be rendered. In this survey, all customers’ requirements will be addressed & recommendations will be formulated.

  • Three-shift System

    TRUST mainly deploys Protection officers according to an accepted Ethiopian Labor Law requirement of 3-shift system. The system allows for continuity, ample rest, quality service, retraining of personnel, and quality family life for Protection Officers, etc.

  • Site Instructions

    A comprehensive set of Site Instructions (description of specific procedures) for every post/deployment will be formulated jointly with the customer. This will be a working document available on each site and it will be counter signed by the customer and TRUST.

  • Site Administration

    Every post/site will have a set of administrative documents. This will include Site instructions, an Occurrence book, Visitors Log book, Emergency Telephones, Weekend Log book, Property Gate Pass file, etc. These documents are available on a 24-hour basis and can be inspected by the customer at anytime.

  • Control

    All Protection Officers are subject to proficiency test per contract. This includes site procedure knowledge, threat handling procedure and familiarity with relevant current duty procedures and directives. Others like kit inspection discipline on duty, customer handling and the officer’s honesty & integrity are assessed regularly and reported to customers.

  • Customer Meeting

    TRUST will conduct formal and documented monthly/quarterly meetings with the customer. These meetings will address all aspects of the protection services as required by both parties.
